What if LBJ lost the Texas senate runoff to Coke Stevenson? What would it mean for their futures and the future of the US?

I can’t imagine it alters reality too much - Stevenson would be even more experienced IOTL than Johnson was and this likely still Kennedy’s pick. If not, probably Symington?

Both of which would either propose an agenda Great Society-esque, or renew American focus on space travel.
