I've decided to give up being an independent or a member of a single-member party for a while.  Problem is, I'm pretty much a centrist and Atlasia doesn't have a centrist party right now.  The place does have a center-left party, apparently without a platform, and a center-right party, that doesn't pay too much attention to their platform, which is definitely to the right of where I would think most of its members are. Anyway, enough explanation.

Im a independent, but I claim to be of both parties....Its like being a member of the Libertarian Party but voting Republican...

Looks like you don't really know how registration thing in Atlasia works.

No-I registered before-From what I have seen, it seems like the RPP and Populares are in a fusion deal.

Heres a new one.

Chairman Sanchez
RPP
Florida

(Im Challenging GPORTER, of the Populares, so I will run as a RPP)

1. There are no "fusion deals" in Atlasia.
2. You are not challenging anybody, since the vote is at-large STV.

Thanks. Not to be offensive but due to your title I have to ask - is this game more of a joke or more of a simulation of real government?

It's too childish to be a simulation of real government, yet too annoying to be a joke. Tongue

Yeah, the words "atlasia(n)", "coalition" and "reform/reformism/reformist" should never be brought together again.

And what the hell is wrong with CID ?

Do I need to change my registration or does caucus affiliation authomatically translate in new party affiliation ? Just to be sure.

I've nothing against the "liberal party" denomination (in fact, I think it's a good name for this kind of party). I just hope that this party's goal is to gather socially progressive economic centrists (which, precisely, could be called liberals) and not become another big tent left-wing party like the one we just dissolved. In other words, please leave us the social-democrats/socialist/econ progressives. Tongue
