Is there somewhere I can get up-to-date with all the precedures and what has been going on? I've been out of the game for awhile.

Depends what exactly you're looking for.
The wiki (accessable from the  button above) is probably the best place to find details on the parties, regions, current office holders, constitution, statutes, etc.

If you've any specific questions, I'm sure someone will be able to help out fairly quickly.

Not a whole lot has changed at all.  For how much people whine about the game, they're amazingly averse to change.

Sorry to see a newbie with an interest in the system leave.
Though given that the Mideast is probably suffering most at a regional level, things may be better off that way.

In terms of goofyness you've certainly moved to a less goofy region, though I'd suggest the Southeast as a better move if you really want to leave goofyness behind (or at least the Midwestern type of goofyness that I presume irks you).

But the Southeast has been touched by Mike Naso.  It is now unclean, and must be condemned and incinerated.

Considering the Southeast is the only regional government not being run by a lunatic, a dictator, a fascist or an inactive, I might urge you to restate your thoughts. (not because I'm defending Mike Naso, rather I'm defending the Southeast)

Otherwise, an invasion of Colorado may be imminent.  Tongue

Is the wiki up to date? I know there has been recent changes but some pages seem out of date.

Another question on the wiki: why are the pages from the old wiki not integrated? For example there's more information on me (from the old wiki) on the talk page than there is on the actual information page.

The most important pages are, but many aren't.  I know that the voter roll is correct because I maintain that section. Tongue

Because it takes time. Care to help out?

I could lend a hand here or there if I'm put in the right direction.

I apologize if I offended you, I didn't mean to lessen the contributions that have been made into the wiki. I just wasn't sure if there was a reason they weren't integrated.

You could integrate the stuff if you wanted - it's not that hard.  Or another thing that I started working on and then my personal life got in the way (yes I sometimes have one) is election boxes for everybody - what election they ran in and if they were successful.  I made a template for it: http://www.uselectionatlas.org/AFEWIKI/index.php/Template:Election_Box

No, I'm not offended. Sorry if it sounded as if I was, which it looks as if it could have been taken that way.

Office History of everyone is one example. It looks like we are now starting on Election History of everyone as well. Gabu has optimized the Voter Rolls Process.

I think the most helpful thing would be to create a stub page for any person who does not have a page and add any relevant info to anyone who only has as stub page. However, any contribution you can make it appreciated.

I've had enough of the Midwest as of lately with all these changes to make the region sound like a goofball-joke region, so I decided to switch regions. Please take note and make all necessary updates. Thanks.

Welcome to the forums!

However, current rules state that you must have twenty-five posts (they can be anywhere in the forum) before you can register for fantasy elections.  This was a simple precautionary measure to avoid having people create multiple registrations purely for the purposes of voting for a specific candidate.  Once you get twenty-five posts, the above registration shall be considered valid.

I encourage you to look around and participate.  We're happy to hear from you. Smiley
