I think I know the context Dave deleted the voter roll in.

Don't keep us in suspense then.
Some friend of Speedo's is jealous of us and wants his friend back. They were both at the library, and his friend registered here and started spamming. He'd done it once before, in fact. They ended up debating - but like little children - in the Register Thread. Speedo was accusing his mate of trying to get the library IPbanned so he couldn't access the forum from there anymore. That's where they were when I went offline. Speedo or Everett might tell you about how it ended.

He probably meant to delete a post and instead deleted the thread.
Yeah, that's what I meant.

I don't know about the other political parties -they haven't exactly been kept updated recently as ours have.

If you check either the voter roll files or the Wiki files, voters are sorted by, among other qualities, party affiliation.
Yeah, I think he may be referring to the list you get when you look up a party on the wiki.

I was never really mentally into the SDP, it's time for a change. I'm not a socialist, either.
Yes you are. And I don't think anybody is really mentally in the SDP...it's just that the ILP and the CDP suck too much. Tongue

You referring to the party he chose?
Yeah, you better come up with a reasoning for that, Mike.

Mike, if you don't want Sam Spade in your party, you have the right to remove him as party leader.

I thought you enjoyed running water, Lewis?
In its alcoholic form. Smiley Hey, it's shrove tuesday.
Seriously...
Crow's got Water Rights problems? Interesting. Why the hell does it still have a strong (though minority) Republican Party, you have any info on that? Also, according to the Census the native language at Crow seems to be relatively alive still.

Welcome to fantasy elections!

There is no Green Party here, and neither are there Democrats or Republicans.  For you, I would recomend either the Independent Liberal Party or the Social Democratic Party.
Or you could set a Green Party up.

Actually, we do have a Green Party.  It's not a major party, but perhaps Sara will be able to change that.
Who is currently registered as a Green?

First: Lewis, you get the standard 10 and 60 day speeches.  You can't move again for 60 days.  You didn't change regions, but you did change districts, so if a special election should be held next weekend, you'd still be eligible for a 5th district special election, but after that you'd be eleigible for a 3rd district special election.

That is not consistent with the Jfern v. DoFA decision.

Thanks.  I'd forgotten that the law there doesn't follow common sense.  Hopefully, that's one of the things that the current reform bill fixes.
Not a problem Ernest, I didn't believe you anyways. Smiley

Yes, but if you look at the notes below, they indicate:

"^ Section 2, Clause 1 was amended by the Sixth Amendment to read: A person may become a registered voter if he has attained twenty-five posts at the forum. In registration, the person must state his name and State of fantasy residence; in addition, he may optionally state a political affiliation. "

Well, that's kind of silly.  They should really keep the information in reverse: relevant information in the main section and historical information at the bottom.

At any rate, okay, 25 it is.

I actually changed it at one time, but Peter said that the normal way of doing this is to leave the original in tact and put a note by it which is now how we have been doing.
That's the practice regarding the US constitution, which can't be amended in-text. it's also the practice in Atlasia.
