After having thought it over, it may not really be possible to shape the AFDNC as a communitarian party with the sheer number of left-liberals and liberal libertarian Democrats on this site (and the tepid response from fellow CDP members to my proposal), so I will switch back to the CDP:

Maverick
CDP
Virginia

Well then on that note

Josh22
CDP
North Carolina

I felt the exact opposite; that due to the populists and liberals in the party, libertarians would have no chance in the AFDNC Smiley I can't see why you both don't give it a chance.

It's been a while since I have been active in here, but at this time I would like to renew my voter registration.  I am Fritz from Minnesota, and for now I will register with the Democratic Alliance (but I am open to being bought by other parties)  Smiley

Welcome Smiley To the game, to the region and to the party!

I will consider it, thank you.
Also, what is your party's position on gay marriage? Is it still an issue in Atlasia?

As far as I remember (could be wrong though) our party believes that the regions should have power over whether or not to have gay marriage. Our party's members though have a wide range of opinions on the subject. But for the most part gay marriage hasn't been an issue around here in awhile.
That is something I more or less agree with (I'm slightly left leaning on the subject, but that is acceptable). What is the current status of the issue in Atlasia, legislation wise?

All state contracts between couples are civil unions. And welcome. I would suggest you join the centrist Democratic Alliance if this issue is important to you. You'll find plenty of conservatives like myself in the party. Drop me a line for more information  Smiley

Thank you for the help, I will be talking to you both in the future. Although the issue is important to me, so is economic conservatism, which is one of my main criteria in a party. I think this concept is very interesting, and I will look forward to voting (And hell, maybe even running for office) in the future.

The RPP is a regionalist party. I am a strong supporter of economic conservatism and helped reduce income tax while the RPP voted to increase income tax in the last Senate. If you want proper small fiscal, big freedom government the DA is a solid choice. As a party we are less centralised than the RPP as we are afterall an alliance.

The DA is well on it's way to becoming a right wing party instead of a left wing party.

I object to the DA being called left-wing.

We have two wings. And a body. Which makes the birdie fly!

New RPP/DA Pacific Members! New RPP/DA Pacific Members! Come on...

I wish the RPP could stop taking the DA as a sidekick and just some vote machine for their candidates.

Yes; that's annoying me too.

This was hard for me, but since apparently being who am I am isn't making people happy, I will do it anways.

Way to misinterpret.

Nobody in the DA meant offense or harm, but whatever.

Yeah; it's a bit suprising.

Pst, you arent the only person who has person who I've talked to. Those who have will now, and forever remain nameless unless they decide to come forward.

If DA'ers have been giving you hassle privately you shouldn't be shy in stating who they are publically.
