Poppy Bush gets infected by some kind of bug that makes him choose none other than Donald J. Trump as his running mate.

Meanwhile Michael Dukakis decides that he can be both surprising and groundbreaking by choosing Jesse Jackson as his running mate.

So what happens? How does a Trump/Jackson debate go?

Does Jackson help Dukakis or does Trump hurt Bush?

Probably a bit of both. I would say Dukakis picks up all his less than 5 percent defeats except maybe New Mexico, making for a relatively close race, but still not enough to put him over the top

Bush would have won and would have carried New York, Wisconsin, and Iowa, in addition to the states he did carry.

A closer election. Bush probably would've lost CA, IL, VT and all the northeastern states aside from NH, ME and NJ. On the flipside, He'd probably pick up WV and WI. I think IA would've still went for Dukakis very narrowly.
