So Bernie can defeat 2 billionaires in the primary and a billionaire in the general election? Bring it on.

Also relevant is that the first filing deadline, Alabama, is tomorrow.

Like, seriously, someone please explain to me how Bloomberg is trading at 13c on predict it and 7% on betfair.

What is his path to the democratic nomination??

No way in hell he gets young people, leftists, or black people.  That's the majority of the base right there.  I get why wine track white women would vote for him, why would latinos vote for him?  He buys $100m in ads of him speaking in Spanish?

Idiots placed bets.

Can someone remind me what happened to another former New York City Mayor who tried a similar strategy?

Republican turned Democrat John Lindsay did poorly in later primaries after not being on the NH ballot.

When's the last time someone went from a non-candidate to on the ballot so fast? I know Mario Cuomo was planning in showing up to file just in time in NH in 1992, but didn't end up doing that.

Yeah, this website definitely cost less than the annual fee for a single Bloomberg terminal. Maybe not even the monthly fee.

Bloomberg is increasingly looking like a Ronald Hump candidate:

This reminds me of the dumb "turnout was moderate" cartoon Jfern used to have in his sig back when he was insisting that Obama would lose in 2012 b/c he was an evil Moderate Hero or some such nonsense.

Good thing that Hillary easily defeated Trump like everyone thought she would.

Bloomberg has fallen from 31% to 19% on predictit over the last hour and a half.

Hopefully he is not betting on himself....

Could be an "Odds Bet" which was a tactic I learned from an old friend where you bet against the house on the Craps table, stack up some chips on one side of the table, so when the rake comes out you are actually winning...

Strategy takes a stash of cash to handle the swings, but in our drive from OR to Seattle, we hit multiple Casinos and with my friends BS Math Degree combined with his gambling skills, we somehow end up paying for all of our Hotels, Drinks, & Food....

Now in the gamblin' market there is another racket.... you bet against yourself to make some money....

Naturally this is an occasion, where if you money from others to fix the game, next thing you know, there might be some dudes in non-police uniforms coming a callin'

Not accusing the Mayor of any such activities, since honestly do believe him to be a decent man, more worried about some of the cronies that worked for him as Mayor, and quite frankly De Blasio is probably the most honest Mayor in NYC in decades....

Again, feel a bit bad for Bloomberg since the Op-Research all essentially whacked him at the same time, but hey welcome to a Democratic Party debate where you gotta expect as a Billionaire you are gonna get hit hard.

If Bloomberg is betting on himself, it's to increase the perception that he's a strong candidate, not so that he can get 0.001% richer or whatever.
