It is safe to say that Mike Castle would have easily beat Chris Coons in the Delaware special senate election in 2010 had he not lost the primary to Christine Odonnell.

However, what many tend to forget is the house seat that Castle had vacated. If Castle had won the senate primary, it is very likely that Michele Rollins would have won the house primary.

Would Castle's strong showing in the senate election have been enough to push Michele Rollins over John Carney?
