Breed: Moderate democrat who was most aggressively pro-housing and reforming zoning laws to allow for apartments in single-family neighbourhoods, supports more market-rate housing. Supports getting the homeless off the streets.

Leno: Progressive, aligned with LGBT issues and has aligned himself with the progressive faction in SF politics. Less NIMBY than Kim but almost as progressive. Not as supportive of getting the homeless of the streets via the police

Kim: Progressive-Radical, NIMBY, opposes more market-rate housing, opposed building apartments in single-family neighbourhoods. Opposed to getting the homeless of the streets via the police

Alioto: Moderate democrat, represents more "conservative" democrats was the choice of the police unions. Law and order democrat who also supports harsher punishments for the homeless that do crime/disorderly acts. Like breed she also supported forcibly removing homeless people off the streets.

Zhou: Trumpist type candiate, but more like a Rob Ford mayoral candidate in SF. Anti-tax, anti-crime, pro-police.

Greenberg: Have no clue, other than he was a republican, so maybe like a Bloomberg type??

I was being hyperbolic, obviously, but "get the homeless off the streets" for her does mean sending in the cops. And you do know how things tend to go when cops are involved.
Yeah, it’s not code for “Put the homeless in empty homes/shelter.”

How can so many people vote against homeless people??

Because she's most pro housing? I'm pretty sure the plan was to put the homeless people in shelters too.

If you're not voting for Breed, you are content with SF being an unaffordable city.

Breed easily. Nimbyism must be stopped. Considering the housing costs, SF needs huge appartment buildings built and fast

At what cost though. The city is already too far congested as is. Not to mention all the environmental calamities such as the risks of liquification at the next major earthquake.

NIMBYISM has its issues, but YIMBY-ism is simply not the answer here.

Yea, I don't care about congestion, when there are SINGLE FYCKING HOUSEHOLDS THROUGHOUT SF in a city that has a massive homeless crisis and lack of housing.
