I doubt Donald Trump has any firm plans for next week, let alone the primaries or the convention.
That said, the idea "we could ditch Pence" is doubtless something that's crossed what passes for his mind, if it hasn't already come out of his mouth at some point. Haley and Ivanka have probably been floated as possible replacements, along with many others.
If he does end up ditching Pence, there's probably a way he can do it somewhat gracefully: "promote" Pence to Secretary of State while Pompeo runs for the Kansas Senate seat.
