Not to jump the gun, but I never saw a response to this beyond Mr. R musing about claiming all of Antarctica:

Worth noting that the point where Atlasia makes claims to Marie Byrd land would be a breach of the Antarctic Treaty. Atlasia has reserved the right to make claims, but it has not done so. Making one would be a breach of the treaty technically, even if Atlasia has always reserved that right.

Incorporating Bir Tawil seems like a terrible idea.
What is the meaning behind seizing this land?

My main rationale for introducing this bill was, well, there are some uninhabited areas around the world claimed by no country, so...why not incorporate them into our territory?

What did he mean by it being a technical violation?

I do not support this. Adding Central America's all good (especially as it actually adds fun to the game), but I think I want to keep a shred of realism in the game if there's no gameplay benefit, and this prevents that, especially seeing as it violates precedent regarding Antarctica.

I don't see how it would be amendable without removing the entirety of the bill, so I move for a final vote.

Was the house thread deleted?

The link doesn't work. I seem to recall it working before though I might be confusing this with another bill in that regard.

Only two Senators have voted on this, so I'm extending the vote for 24 hours.

Oh that ended up a bit longer than 24 hours, my bad. I'll count all the votes though. This bill passes 3-2-0-1.
Aye; 3 (MB, ON Progressive, Devout Centrist)
Nay; 2 (Peanut, PyroTheFox)
Abstaining; 0
Not voting; 1 (North Carolina Yankee)
