I think he probably gets his sentence significantly commuted instead. An outright pardon would look bad, but with a commutation, Trump can still claim some distance from him and just say he's another witch hunt victim.

Yes, but it will probably be post-election. Or maybe not, Trump is a loose cannon and doesn't believe in consequences or perception. Just look how he potentially intimidated a testifying witness through twitter yesterday.

No, Trump is under impeachment,  if he dangles a pardon, he will have criminal charges filed against him. Trump is leaving office in 2021 not 2025, and impeachment will last most of 2020

Of course he does. He has the goods on Trump, simple as that. Manafort will be pardoned as well.  I'd bet money on it.

Wouldn't be surprised, especially after the election Mr. Trump could pardon him and Manafort.

At a time of the President's choosing. If he is about to resign or retire, or if he sees impeachment and removal as a certainty.

If Trump loses in 2020, I'd bet money on it. Trump would be in total meltdown mode, pardoning anyone who would make Democrats angry that they were pardoned, especially someone like Stone who didn't cooperate with authorities or reveal any dirt he may have on Trump.

Trump doesn't care about decorum and has already made a mockery of presidential pardon power. He'll probably launch pardons on a day where there's a lot of bad news for him just to turn the narrative in a way he wants.

"Pardongate" was a scandal for Clinton, but Trump doing the same thing will somehow earn him applause from the same party that condemned Clintons for everything as he leaves the White House.

No he wont Blue avatars, Trump faces legal jeopardy once he leaves office, dangling a pardon would make it worst for Trump
