What party would historical Louisiana Gubernatorial candidate Eddie Rispone be a member of if he was alive today? He was socially conservative and supported lowering taxes, but I could see case for him being a conservative Democrat or a Libertarian in the post-Trump era.

You might remember that when he ran for Governor of Louisiana, he won LaSalle parish by a very large margin, and just a few years prior Democrat Kathleen Blanco had done the same. I am convinced, therefore, that Rispone, were he alive today, would be a staunch Democrat.
