It's amazing how many idiots believe that Sweden was looking to be a proxy for the US to get hold of Assange.

So they wait until he can easily be extradited to the US before dropping charges? Hmmm.

Assange managed to run out the clock on the statute of limitations for the charges against him in Sweden. That has no bearing on the validity of the charges.
