Wow! What a great episode, guys! To answer Driedapples' question in another thread, I don't know if Jin was flashing back.

I'm thinking it might have been a flash forward, with Jin forbidden to see Sun (after orders from Sun's father). Sun's father could then act as if Jin was killed when he's really alive and still working for him.

That's what I thought at first.  But I now think that Jin was a flashback because:

the year of the dragon was 2000
Jin was using a really old cell phone and yelling at the guy in the cab like he did when he was a thug
Also, I think the "I've only been married for two months" was supposed to be the hint to us that it was a flashback.

I had kinda expected Sun's baby to be black.  Now that would be have a twist...

Sure, they wanted us to think it was a flashback to confuse us.  Wink

I think your reasoning is much more realistic but I just hope I am right. I don't want Jin to actually die.

I think Bernard will spontaneously combust.

I seriously think Kate (freckles) is in love with me.  I can tell by the way she looks at me through the TV screen.

You cracked it.  The year of the dragon thing confirms that it was a flashback.  Jin's dead.

Eh, I guess so since the next Year of the Dragon isn't until 2012. Then again, they still could be simply acting like Jin is dead. Remember, Sun's father is an evil man!

The date on the headstone of when Jin died is September 22nd, 2004, the day the plane went down.

Yeah, but The Oceanic six said only eight survived the crash, and two died of injuries.  This means that Jin either died or was left behind on the island when the six were rescued.  There is one more person left in the Oceanic six (this could be aaron, don't know for sure)

I thought Aaron would be included but would they count someone born on the island as a survivor?

For some reason I think there is one more we don't know about.  And what's with the Oceanic Six not getting along?  Hurley is so relieved when Sun says no one else is coming.  They seem like the only two who get along.

Wow! What an amazing episode!

The boat must have reached the island. Notice how Alex's last words were "I'm Ben's daughter." Ben warned her that when they came for him, they'd want her.

The only down side now is that we have to wait until April 24th!  Sad

that was pretty good. Michael not being able to off himself is pretty trippy.

Wasn't the reason they weren't going to show any episodes until February so they didn't have to have any breaks? Must be because of the writers strike though.

Also, remember how that guy simply looked at Michael after Sayid told him what happened. It just seems as if it was a look like, "Ok, no time to flip out. Fix the engines and get to the island."

I'm more upset about Rousseau.

yeah. Rousseau, with the cool accent and everything, died. And someone is worried about Karl?

I'll miss Rousseau. Not Karl.

Nobody's really dead, anyway. Probably the only show where your character can die and appear on the show more than ever afterwards.
