I don't think these scandals really had much impact anywhere.  Demographic groups just voted how they were supposed to (except in Maine).  NC is still a GOP tilt state.  Don't forget, for every 2 super educated, responsible, world-conscious moderate suburban voter in Charlotte and Raleigh there are 3 THG's.  That explains why NC is gonna do NC.
