The Vets - Nothing Remains (1981)
Twist - This Is Your Life
Bpeople - Can Can't (1981)

Bpeople - Can Can't 1981

Are you sure?
Live the life of an animated person
You're so sure,
I never knew so it really doesn't matter.

Yes, I can,
I can can't really I can't

That's not so
I need a push, go ahead and push me
You're so sure
I'll never know about the animated world.

A Billy Graham crusade from 1957, and there was a black singer who delivered the special music before the message.  I was thinknig in my political mind what she must have gone through in 1957, 7 years before the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

It's crazy watching old footage of his crusades and seeing the MASSIVE crowds he spoke to. We forget what a huge impact he had in the 50, 60s, and 70s.  It's a shame that the only guy who draws crowds that even come close to being comparable nowadays is Joel Osteen(45,000 people a week come to hear that guy's motivational speeches), and the media has been trying to make Rick Warren something akin to the new Billy Graham(although people have assigned that role to Rob Bell, don't even get me started on that...). The oldest stuff I usually listen to is John MacArthur from the 70s and John Piper from the 80s.

As for me, I'm listening to the Allman Brothers - Live at SUNY Stonybrook from 1971
