Ad Rock is definitely one of my favorite emcees, but he's no where near Pac, Biggie, Pun, Nas, early Jay-Z, Weezy, etc., in terms of lyrical ability.  However, there's no doubting the creativity and consistency of the Beasties.  They've been on a whole other level from everyone else for more than 20 years now.

Beastie Boys -- "Pass the Mic"
I think it's the crossover appeal that sets them apart more than anything.

One of my favorite hip-hop beats ever.

Some metal clips on a TV channel, damn I really have problems to bear that music.

Though, it reminds me that there is a band that I like for a few songs of them.

So, I'm now on System of a down...

Don't remember of the name of that song in which they say "why do they always send the poors?". If someone knows...
The name of the song is "BYOB"

What does "Сенатор" mean?
I think it's "Senator" in Russian. I've had it there since I was a fantasy Senator like a year ago. I've been too lazy to change it.

I liked it. Sad

I liked it too.

And yes, the word does indeed mean "Senator" in Russian.

Daniel Johnston - Devinare
R. Stevie Moore - Benefit of the Doubt
Daniel Johnston - Greivances

Benefit of the Doubt
R. Stevie Moore

quit singing about the girls that you love
i'm sick of that stuff
quit trying to count the stars up above
stop telling me lies i can't figure out
too many to count
stop saying you are the benefit of the doubt

quit complaining so much
stop relying on such

don't tell me to take another pretty girl out
don't tell me to take the benefit of the doubt

benefit of the doubt redoubt
benefit of the doubt devout
benefit of the doubt throughout
quit singing about the benefit of the doubt

i don't wanna resign
should i have to decline
what i mean by a line
just because it's benign

stop taking the time to worship divine
i'm sick of that rhyme
don't tell me to put my heart in the south
i'll rupture your mouth
quit talking about the benefit of the doubt
quit thinking about the benefit of the doubt
quit insisting to give the benefit of the doubt
don't try to give me the benefit of the doubt

benefit of the doubt redoubt
benefit of the doubt devout
benefit of the doubt throughout

quit singing about the benefit of the doubt
i'll rupture your mouth
quit talking about the benefit of the doubt
quit thinking about the benefit of the doubt
don't try to give me the benefit of the doubt
stop saying you are the benefit of the doubt
stop saying you are the benefit of the doubt

Keep On Loving You - REO Speedwagon

Damned TimeLife commmercials! Now I not only have the horrible voice of Kevin Cronin forever tormenting my puritan mind but also his horrible sense of fashion. Why, oh why did he have a horrendous mullett (even worse than Iva Davies in Electric Blue) combined with a pink suit?

I knew that beat sounded familiar.

Mavado -- "Amazing Grace"
