I might go see them at the end of the month. They're playing a free show in Brooklyn.

While the playlist that goes along with the cover of Pink Floyd, made of other Thai covers is weird. That Thai cover of Rasputin is cute.

After hearing all that South Asian songs tonight, I like all (otherwise I wouldn't have listened all), but yeah the old ones might have 'something more', mainly in the voice of the singer, but not only, the music seems to have more spontaneity, though I'm not sure how long I could be able to listen to such a piercing voice. But I like Dengue Fever as well, even if maybe yes, it might have less intensity and spontaneity than the older ones, my favorite of them remains the one I quoted, which is quite good.

Thanks, buddy, for your kind attention to my little interests. I love to know what people think about obscure arts.  I agree absolutely that while Dengue Fever is very listenable and nice, the originals are more powerful.  I'm really quite taken with them, and love Ros Sereysotheas high-high voice.

Here's a very 'trippy' Thai pop folk:

Pumpuang Duangjan - Sao Dok Kum Tai (Lady From A Flower)
Plus others:
Cambodian Cassette Archives - Birds Are Singing But My Lover Won't Return
Folk &  Pop Sounds of Myanmar Vol. 1 - Ni Ni Win Shwe - My Darling's Love Arrow

This channel repeats the songs from earlier every so many hours. What are the chances. Tongue

My radio stations do that, too.  And with a song like this, why not repeat?
