The Beatles-Michelle.

Hidden Gem. Great song.

Is that the one with some French lyrics?  I like that one.

I continue to listen to Fallout Boy a lot, I may have to buy their album.

I also like Death Cab for Cutie, I heard them on SNL last month.
Soul Meets Body
Crooked Teeth (the better of the two)

Jessie's Girl                                      Rick Springfield
Bette Davis Eyes                              Kim Carnes
Playing with the Queen of Hearts    Juice Newton
9 to 5                                               Dolly Parton

Those 4 came from a CD called "Hits of 1981" that I got at work (for free Wink)

The Police - Every Breath You Take

I know this is a terrible thing to say but I actually like Puff Daddy's version of that song better. Its called "I'll be Missing You". The Police version is good, just not as good as the remake. I don't like any of Puff Daddy's other songs (thats P Diddy to those of you grew up after the awesome Clinton years).

Didn't his version consist of having female singers sing the chorus while he said "ungh"?

Thats only part of it! Wink

What a horrible version of a great song. I don't know how you tolerate any of Puff Daddys garbage.

I don't like any of his other songs, just this one. I like the original too, just not as much.

uuuuum......."Take on me" by Aha. This is a less than proud moment for me. Tongue

Why? Thats one of my favorite songs ever! The video is really cool, or at least it was back in the day. They even spoofed it on Family Guy recently.

The Eagles "One of These Nights"
And what day would be complete without "Dance Dance" by Fallout Boy?

On this page I only know 2 of the songs listed (Boys of Summer and Lyin Eyes)

Songs I've listened to in the past 3 days:

U + Ur Hand (Pink)   I don't like the spelling, its a symptom of all this "texting" nonsense that goes on these days.

It Ends Tonight      by  All American Rejects
Its Not Over           by Chris Daughtry
Before He Cheats   by Carrie Underwood   ("Louisville Slugger" Smiley)
That New Duet by Shakira and Beyonce
Don't Matter           by Akon
The Sweet Escape   by Gwen Stefani
This Ain't A Scene     by Fall Out Boy
Look After You          by The Fray     (I like all 3 songs they've released so far)

You Got to Me                             Neil Diamond
Apologize                                    ??
Wake Up Call                              Maroon 5
The Way I Are                             "Timbaland" and some fine foxy lady
Gimme More                                Britney Spears
Paralyzer                                    Finger Eleven
Smoke Gets in Your Eyes            The Platters

Also, Linkin's Park's new Album Minutes to Midnight. I like a lot of the songs, here are some of the lyrics to one, called Hands Held High

Do you see, the soldiers, they're out today they
Brush the dust from bulletproof vests away.
It's ironic, at times like this you pray,
but a bomb blew the mosque up yesterday.
There's bombs on the buses, bikes, roads,
inside your market, your shops, your clothes,
My dad, He's got a lot of fear I know
but enough pride inside not to let that show.
My brother had a book he would hold with pride
A little red cover with a broken spine.
On the back, he hand wrote a quote inside:
"when the rich wage war, it's the poor who die"

And meanwhile, the leader just talks away
Stuttering and mumbling for nightly news to replay
and the rest of the world watching at the end of the day
both scared and angry like "what did he say?"

I thought it was a quote from Chairman Mao's Little Red Book, but its actually from Jean-Paul Sartre.

Bye, Bye, Bye... -- Backstreet Boys.

Thats by 'n sync, not the Backstreet Boys. I think I'll listen to Tearin' Up My Heart now.

Okay, wait for it...

Summer time - New Kids on the Block

FF

Now wait for everyone to bust on you for this as they did with me...  Tongue

I like that song too. There's nothing to make fun of.

Juanes - La Camisa Negra   (The Black Shirt)
Juanes - A Dios Le Pido        (I ask of God)

And, not technically a song, but Time for Some Campaigning, which is a Jib Jab cartoon that uses the tune from Bob Dylan's The Times They are a Changin'
