Why aren't conservative Christians outraged by this ad?

Don’t only Catholics sing that (awesome) song, anyway?  That’s, like, not even close to a majority of Christians, if it is truly a Catholic tune.  Might explain them not caring.

People other than you understand culture and taste.

I listened the ad, it barely sounds like music. Like the piano part at the start is OK, (like the song at the beginning of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness), but those vocals, OMG WTF.

BRTD must be really confused by traditional hymns and classical music in general.

Actually not quite, there are some classic hymns I hear in church, but they're rock (sometimes even pop punk!) covers, not the classic.
