Christians who identify as theologically liberal are much less likely to believe in hell than Christians who identify as theologically conservative.  If you are talking about politically liberal Christians versus politically conservative Christians (in an American context), the relationship still holds but is significantly weaker.

I think both groups of Christians believe in hell and the devil, the critical difference is whether they interpret them as metaphors/allegories or literal truths.
