Pretty surprised I lasted this long, although without the What-If Board and me deciding to write TL's, I very likely would not have. The forum has changed a lot over the past 5 years, I remember my couple years here how much Libertarianism was popular on here, and so was Economic Conservatism and Social Liberalism but I do like the posters now better as they are overall nicer than they were back then.

Anyway here is my first ever post:

Here are some of my first few posts on here: https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?action=profile;u=12566;sa=showPosts;start=20025

And going through my buddy list my first ever buddy on here was SunriseAroundTheWorld who

20K posts. Not bad.

I have to have extended breaks to let go of the intensity of discussion.

Politics and the internet. Who would have guessed?

This, you're probably one of the best posters on the Atlas.

True, although in my case, it's pure coincidence that I joined a little over a month after the 2017 off-year elections.

Happy fifth Atlas birthday then, to one of the best posters in this forum.

I've joined in August 2013 already, though didn't post much up to late 2015. I expected to become less active after the 2016 election, but somehow didn't happen.

You are a great poster as well .

Looking back and some of my early posts from 2015, I was a lot more idealistic back then and much more optimistic as well.

For me the reason I stayed was because of the Election What If board. If it wasnt for that , I probably would have left the forum in mid 2017 or so because the US Gen has become much much worse then it was before.

Not if you are a bigger Sports "nerd" lol or just like to be social in general like me.  I mainly use this forum to discuss politics rather than Facebook like many people I know as the discussion quality on here is far far higher.

Should be Atlas Forum  Motto--"Better Than Fighting on Facebook"

And for the record, I registered on Nov 19th, 2012 which makes me slightly more "gifted" than those who signed up in December.

You ought to spend less time on Atlas. Go date a few girls. Go get a well paying job. Learn social skills, learn a difficult yet marketable skill and attain an elite level. You have a very, very, very naive view of the world. I've discussed you with other Atlas users, there is a consensus here.

Stop trying to get good boy points from the Atlas left. Many of them have less respect for you than I do and will throw you under the bus eventually no matter how anti-Trump you are.

More I think real life did and getting older did. Back then I thought cutting 25% of the budget across the board was a perfectly reasonable solution , I dont anymore cause I know the impacts it will have on society. Also even on defense I understand now the problem isnt mainly in the defense budget but in the foriegn policy in general as if you have a FP the US does that it is inevitiable you will have that type of budget too.
