Muslims are republican usually. 80% of them voted for Bush in 2000.

Vietnam is now like 10% Catholic, but it used to be much higher. The Communists banned the religion, and many Catholics fled out of the country or left the religion. Now vietnam is more tolerable, but still authorative.
