Don't be an idiot.  Hunter Biden is not relevant to Trump's misconduct in this affair; this is an attempt to deflect (by Trump, his supporters, and you).  Bolton has relevant knowledge of what was going on; Biden does not.

How so? It has literally started the whole Impeachment.

President Trump is claiming that the Bidens conduct in Ukraina was suspicious enough to ask the President of Ukraine to investigate it. I'm incline to agree with Pr. Trump, but the Bidens has of course the right to clarify what the  Hunter was getting paid for?

I'm damn sure, you'd be interested, too, if it was Pence's son working for, let's say, Putin's Gazprom...

Come on, Mr. Trump was never into caring about corruption in Ukraine. What else has he done other than singling out the son of a political rival? This whole thing is nonsense and it doesn't take much to see through it. Trump didn't even care whether there was an actual investigation in Ukraine. All he wanted is an announcement that makes the Bidens look corrupt to improve his reelection chances. And after he got caught by a whistleblower, he released the aid previously held back.

After all, there is not even evidence Hunter did something wrong legally. He only cashed in a ton of money, which he shouldn't have done from an ethical perspective. And Mr. Trump is the last person on earth to accuse anyone for being greedy.

I never said Trump was "into caring about corruption", but when he saw the Bidens in it, he couldn't resist. It's a politic. Like Benghazi. GOP cared only because Hillary was in it. Very "bad" to single her out, bur it's how it works.

He didn't want to pay because he's promised get along with Putin and Ukrainians set him up during 2016, when they leaked and started investigate Manafort who was then forced out. Trump wanted them to do same but against the Bidens  Mock

I didn't say that Bidens did anything illegal, but it was certainly a corruption (at least in Russia we would call it so). Just imagine if it was about the guys you don't like, like Trumps, in exactly same situation. If even with Trumps you wouldn't call it corrupt, then fine. Otherwise you understand that the only argument is that Biden is good and clean, while Trump is orange baad and corrupt.

But it is getting off topic. If Democrats really think it that Bolton is so important and that it is so obvious that the Bidens didn't do anything wrong, just invite them and explain to american people that you had to accept this "farce" because corrupt GOP forced you too in order to get Bolton, Mulvaney and others to testify.

Let american people decide. They are not stupid! They will see this allegedly obvious republican dishonesty and the Bidens innocence.
Wait...what???

I think Lead Impeachment Manager Rep. Adam Schiff just BLEW it with his "HEAD ON A PIKE" thing. Collins & Murkowski were shaking their Heads when he said it.

Oh hey more posts from Romney’s hair and 2016 that don’t actually address the substance of the case. It’s embarrassing how Trump is both has such overwhelming evidence against him and his offense is about as serious and corrupt as one can get but they don’t care. The whole Republican Party has become a cancer on our democracy and they are proof of it

Then what exactly is Trump's legal defense against the claims?  That shouldn't be a hard question.

Schiff: Brings Giuliani into the mix, and now we got the Russian hacking last Week of the Ukranian Oil Company where Biden's son was involved.... Russian hacking of US elections will continue.

Doing a pretty good job of putting Russian hacking into the mix and tying it together, and then tying in the potential that other Foreign Governments might see American action of weakness.

"Put American interests first"

It is exactly why Pr. Donald J Trump did a right thing. If you don't investigate the Bidens, Russians will. And nothing can stop these devils!

Ironically, the same people who thought that Pee Tape was plausible (LOL), don't understand the danger of the Bidens actions. The cocaine addict, Hunter who doesn't even use condoms while banging strippers, was getting paid $50 thousands a month by Ukrainian "pro-Russian" Gas (!!) company. Yikes! If you thought that Pee Tape was even remotely (!!!) plausible, you should think that Russian having dirt on Hunter is likely.

The president duty is to make sure that Russians can't blackmail the next president!  Angry

I have no doubt that the Russian Kleptocracy will meddle, or as you call it "investigate" any potential leader of the United States of America regardless of party affiliation.

Russia today is the modern day equivalent of Turkey.... The "Rump" of the Ottoman Empire well past it's prime where the working people in the Farms, Factories, and the Cities, are more than willing to create *blame* outwards, or in many cases inwards to explain the sobering reality of 2020.

The differences between Russia and Turkey are obvious:

Russia has Nukes, a relatively modernized military, huge supplies of natural resources including not only massive Petro reserves, but also large supplies of a wide variety of minerals and ores, agricultural food products, timber and fishing, not to mention an over-educated and under-employed population where cyber technologies are available as part of quality University programs....

Turkey after the Collapse of the Ottoman Empire had agricultural resources in the hinterlands of Anatolia, access to shipping routes within the MED, Central Europe, as well as potential of overland routes to the East....

Russia after the Collapse of the Soviet Union went the route of the Oligarchs combined with an alliance within the most reactionary elements of the Russian Orthodox Church. The consolidation of economic and political power in such a few years is virtually unprecedented within Global History, and effectively the Russian Model mixes "Monopoly Capitalism", with extreme "Russian Nationalism", while meanwhile the average Russian life expectancy has collapsed, Journalists are murdered with impunity, environmental catastrophic events are routinely covered up.

Chernobyl was obviously a major turning point when it came to a "crisis of confidence among the elites"....

Although America can and will continue to support Ukraine regardless of whatever political party or candidate wins the Presidency in 2020, the line needs to be drawn.

Russian interference in elections throughout Western Europe is clearly documented, well before the '16 US-PRES elections (Well outside of the traditional Russian or USSR economic nor political sphere of influence).

One may well dispute from a Ukranian or Russian perspective about the "Russian Diaspora" and loss of rights in the States of the former Soviet Republics and where exactly the boundaries fall, but it is clear that the FSB has murdered Russian dissidents throughout Europe for well over a decade, and that these actions were most likely directed from the very top.

Naturally I don't need to provide you with a lecture of facts that as an educated person you are most likely already quite familiar with....

I still believe as I did in the 1980s that the "Russians Love Their Children Too", as well as items such as Nuclear disarmament and all that good stuff...

The GOP pearl clutching over the spikes comment is hilarious because they were just looking for the opportunity to justify voting against witnesses. Pathetic.

Adam Schiff.

CNN nad MSBNC love him; and he gave an academy award winning presentation.
FOX News hate him; and he lies through his teeth.

It's a bit disappointing that the media is pre-owned by the political parties regardless of what was said.

Just have to wait for the result of the trial I guess.

The GOP arent calling witnesses due to Hunter Biden not testifying.  Lamar Alexander and Romney are the swing voters not Collins and Murkowski. They say Grassley,  Enzi fell asleep on the testimony.  We are now gonna see Trump defense

Please stop portraying the media as being equally biased. They are not and never have been. Fox News is a Republican/Trump propaganda organization, yes. The rest of the MSM are not "anti-Trump" or anti-Republican. They are pro ratings. All of them, from PBS to CNN to MSNBC have given Mr. Trump huge amounts of free publicity, normalized his insanity, and have long refrained from focusing on his most damning actions and history. If you find one that only ever refers to him as "lying, mentally ill, Russian-oraganized crime money launder, noted abuser, and lawbreaker Donald Trump" or similarly negative terms, then maybe you'd have a point (although I'd call that truthful reporting, personally).

Good, the prosecutors failed to prove guilt, now all the defense does is wrap this case up. Trump polls have improved in the polls since impeachment has gone on

Good, the prosecutors failed to prove guilt

If anything its the GOP who have failed to convince the american people that trump is innocent

The Dems have already convicted Trump in the court of of public opinion

Most Americans believe Trump is 100 percent guilty of the these crimes and more than half want him thrown off of office. In one of the latest polls 58% say they believed Trump abused the power of the presidency to obtain an improper personal political benefit and 57% say it is true that he obstructed the House of Representatives in its impeachment inquiry.

Bill Clinton never saw poll numbers like that when they were impeaching him and Nixon numbers never got that bad until the very end.  Like is or not Most Americans think trump abused his power and that Damming fact it what is putting pressure on Republicans in swing states.

think about it Mitch McConnell had to change the impeachment rules at the last minute simply because he could not get swing state Republicans to go along with him.

that alone proves that GOP have already lost the augment because had The Dems really failed to prove  Trumps guilt  Mitch McConnell would have never changed the original impeachment rules nor would he ever been pressured to do so in the first place.

It is beyond my understanding why Pelosi choose him as Impeachment Manager. But hey, may be she has a plan. She sent USMCA hours after articles of impeachment. Now Trump is gonna get  acquitted and then sign USMCA. Good job, everyone!
