However, discrimination based on sexual orientation should be illegal in all government employment.

How about gym teachers in elementary schools? Would you want a gay adult male watching your young son shower after gym class?

Pedophilia and homosexuality are entirely distinct. There are heterosexual pedophiles and homosexual non-pedophiles.

I vote no (oppose anti-discrimination laws). There is no such thing as objective right and wrong.

yeah, but there is such as thing as principles, they don't have to be axiomatic.

Yes it is wrong. And I support the discrimination laws as they currently stand (even though I wish there was no need for them) because excluding sexual orientation from such laws is hypocritical.

I disagree with government setting standards by which employers are supposed to hire.  I believe that if there's a business out there that would turn down an applicant because he/she is gay/bi/lesbian, etc. then it's probably better off that that gay/bi/lesbian applicant doesn't work there in the first place.  I for one wouldn't want to work for someone who hates my guts because I'm bisexual.

Heterosexual men are less likely to have an interest in molesting boys.

Hetrosexual men like women
Homosexual men like men

Paedophiles 'like' children regardless of them being male or female.

So a homosexual in employment is not likely to take an interest in boys. I know i wouldn't. My sexual attraction is to fully grown men.

Perhaps schools should only employ eunuchs, just to be on the safe side.

That's why men are not gym teachers for girls. My original comment pertained to having homosexual men being gym teachers for boys. I think parents should have a right to object to that.

How do homosexual men feel about teenage boys who are approaching manhood?

Would you feel more comfortable if your boss-man kept the homos out of the warehouse?

I've never understood why this isn't more obvious to more people.

I would say Yes, it is wrong to discriminate against someone on the basis of sexual orientation, but I am generally not supportive of discrimination laws, so I voted Option 2.

However, discrimination based on sexual orientation should be illegal in all government employment.

Im undecided on anti discrimination laws.  However, a person should be hired based on their qualifications, not their sexual orientation.

Option 2, unless it is on religious grounds (church, synagogue, etc.)  Then Option 4.

Just wondering whether those who are against anti-discrimination laws will admit that discrimination is wrong. (i.e. are they principled or are they just anti-gay)

Option 1 for me.
Who the  are you to tell me I am not allowed to hire only gay males in my gay escort services club?
