One of my friends only brings up politics in the context of what she's seen on Snapchat, 50% of which is paid Bernie promos and the rest are Snap stories from non-journalistic platforms or, at best, places like Vox. She literally has no idea what's going on outside of this little inlet of information. This is how 18-29s consume their political news.
So a significant improvement on boomers addicted to cable news. Great!
At least cable news has actual standards and employs (some) real journalists. YouTube is literally just college dropouts in their basements repeating punditry they heard on cable news through a filter.
