The moment that really stands out to me, thinking back over the Trump presidency, is the day the "muslim ban" went into effect.

Thousands of people stranded at the airport.  People panicking and crying.  Families torn apart.  Businesses disrupted.  Mass chaos and hysteria.

It was the first moment where it struck me that, this is a real thing.  This is what it's going to be like.  This is a disaster and it's just going to be the first disastrous episode in a four year series.

Oh Come On, it was no such thing.  The biggest problem with the travel ban 1.0 is that it was implemented incompetently. The main problem with the other two ones was it didn't include Saudi Arabia

Failure of Obamacare repeal, Brett Kavanaugh confirmation, Charlottesville and impeachment. If he loses, the 2020 election will probably count, if he wins the 2020 election will probably be ignored relative to 2016 but there will be a lot more historic (and historically crazy) stuff in his second term.

He himself advertised it as a muslim ban.  It was one of his main promises on the campaign trail.  Nearly every single rally, he promised to ban muslims.  Then his first day in office, he puts this ban in place, and internally the messaging is, it's a muslim ban.  What's the point in lying about it at this point?  The Supreme Court already A-OK'd it and it's still in effect.

The ban was no where near close to what he was talking about on the campaign trail so no it was not advertised at such. It was advertised as a travel ban and it happened after a week not in his first day. The big problem was the rollout and the fact that it did not include Saudi Arabia. Lastly, the final version of the travel ban which is in effect right now includes North Korea.
