Quote
Amendment to the Gubernatorial Appointments Act

Section 2 will be removed from the bill.

Quote
1) The Governor can no longer appoint NPC's or non playable characters into positions that have to be nominated by the Executive.

2) Citizens of the Southern Region that have been nominated to a position by the Governor have to exceed 100 posts to be appointed into position that they have been nominated for.

Thank you for bringing this bill to the floor, Mr. Speaker.

I do not plan on choosing or needing to choose a new Attorney General now or in the near future. However, I would like to see the removal of such a stringent post requirement for gubernatorial appointees. Considering that appointees such as a regional Attorney General do little, in practice; I do not see the need for such a heightened post requirement for these appointees. However, I would be open to instead amending this section to a lower post requirement instead of striking this part.

I would like to hear what the delegates have to say on this bill. I would like to see this bill passed but it is not a priority of this administration.

Mr. Speaker: I think the Chamber should move toward a final vote unless any Delegate(s) have more to say on this bill.

Mr. Speaker: I think the vote should now be closed.

Also: Delegate PragPop did not vote on this bill or the Restructured Employment For Miners Act (REMA) though all the other four delegates did. I presume the delegates were PM'ed for the final vote, Mr. Speaker?
