The race is going to hot up over the next few months. Santorum and Casey are expected to spend around $50m each.
'Ted Kennedy' has called Casey a guy who stands for big government. While Casey has called Santorum a man who gives multi-millions a tax cut when the country is at war. Who supports Bush 98% of the time.
Bush-Rove tactics will be bought to PA. No doubt about it. It worked in South Dakota failed in New Jersey. But can Casey deal with the brutal attacks?
The media will play a key role also. Not one South Dakota newspaper tried to defend Daschles record on abortion. they just played the bush script. The freaks in Central PA will be out in force. But could intelligent design be an issue?
