Dracula (1931). Still entertaining and still a classic, although I fell asleep before the end. I really need to read the novel and see the supposedly superior Spanish version.

"Relative Chaos"  it was a made for TV movie for ABC family.  Let me just say, it made me feel REALLY good about my family!  On the side note, if you are a Buffy fan, Charisma Carpenter and Nicholas Brendan are two of the leads in it.

Miami Vice

I have to admit that I actually enjoyed it... certainly better than I expected, considering that it's just a adaptation of a TV series from the 80ies.

But I do have a weakness for those bleak and morally ambiguous cop thrillers... plus, I like this ultra-realistic documentary-like style with shaken hand-held cameras etc. which has become popular in recent years (despite the fact that many people think that it hurts the eye after a while and causes them headaches Cheesy ).

Btw, judging from the "masterpiece or crap?" debates on the imdb message board this seems to be a pretty polarizing movie.  The same applies to the user rating there:

10 out of 10 - 1832 votes
...
5/10 - 874 votes
4/10 - 626 votes
...
1/10 - 1249 votes

Well, personally I would give it a 7/10 or so.

American History X. Disturbing, powerful and oddly inspiring. One to add to the list of favorites, for sure.

United 93. If you're not moved by this film, no matter where you come from, you may not have a heart.

I agree with that. It's an extremely harrowing film.

V for Vendetta. Had a lot of negative press but I really enjoyed it.

Agreed. Have you seen Audition? It was quite a big influence on Hostel, plus it's one of my favourite films of all-time.

Sahara, mainly because I'm a Clive Cussler fan.

Reasonable, but nothing to write home to. Wasn't expecting Giordino to be like that. Wasn't expecting Pitt to be like that. Wasn't expecting a lot of things.

What'd you think of that, as someone who doesn't agree with most (any?) of what Gore is saying?
