Prayers For Bobby, quite possibly one of the best movies I've seen in my life.

An Unusual Affair

Quite good, ending could have been better though.

Bruno, and honestly alot of it was really just trashy and there was alot of needless nudity. Most of the amusing parts of the movie were where there wasn't alot of direct in-your-face nudity, and as Eraser said, it was pretty short too.

There were a few hilarious moments, and even more amusing was counting the people walking out of the theater as the movie got progressively more outrageous, but overall I don't have a very high opinion of the movie nor half the people that were stuck in there with me.

And I'll be honest, as I was walking out of the theater, I felt pretty much like a cheap hooker.

I saw Bruno on Friday night. It was pretty underwhelming and too much penis for my tastes. There were some good laughs, but it wasn't anywhere near the masterpiece that Borat was. It was also really short.

Yeah, I had a feeling plenty of people didn't really know what they were in for Tongue

I must be the only one who has no real interest in seeing Bruno, probably because I didn't think Borat was all that funny either to be honest. Tom Green pretty much did the same thing but he did it a lot funnier.

I never even watched Borat.

A Home at the end of the World (2004)

Colin Farrell. Enough said. Tongue

I thought that movie was boring and predictable. Tongue

Required. Viewing.

One of the best movies I've ever seen (with one of the sweetest love scenes I've ever seen to boot) and I don't give statements like this lightly. Watch.

I saw two yesterday.

Get Real and Nixon. Both enjoyable movies.

The last movie I watched was "Get Real" as well, but I don't know if we're on the same page..

I saw that movie years ago. I only remember a couple of scenes, but it was depressing compared to Beautiful Thing, a similar movie that was released around the same time. The latter is one of my all time favorites.

For some reason the first time I watched Beautiful Thing I thought it was mediocre and didn't know what all the fuss was about. I thought I judged it a little too harshly, so I watched it a second time pretty recently, and liked it alot more than I did the first time. Go figure.

Remember the Daze.

Oh my God, this movie is the Anti-Oscar. It's so freaking amazing in only the most ironic of ways. It's absolutely horrendous if you're looking for a normal engrossing movie, but I recommend watching it for anyone who wants to watch a movie so awful, that it becomes one of the greatest things ever seen.

War Eagle, Arkansas

Very good movie, I thought, with interesting characters and an ending that isn't completely trite. I'd really love a moratorium on the phrase "coming of age" in any movie description, though.

(500) Days of Summer

Unfortunately I missed the first few minutes of this movie, but it didn't suffer for it, since I ended up loving every other minute. Maybe a bit predictable in the end, but you couldn't really ask for anything different. Really liked it.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice

It's nothing special but I didn't mind it. I don't exactly know why I sort of liked it, though. I guess I just enjoy Jay Baruchel in nearly anything.

The Trotsky

I have no idea how I feel about that movie. I could write up until the post limit about how confused I feel about what the hell that film's message actually was, but I don't think I'd entertain anyone but myself. Tongue I love Jay Baruchel, but that film misses so many opportunities to actually make itself clear.

Eu Não Quero Voltar Sozinho.

Short film, and incredibly good. I'm a sucker for even the tiniest hint of romance where one of the individuals involved suffers from one disability or another.

La Mission.

It was alright, I guess. There were certainly parts of it that I really liked, but I always get so frustrated with movies that have their best story lost in all of the secondary characters and subplots. Out of an hour and fifty-five minutes, I really only liked about an hour of it, and was bored out of my mind with the rest.

The Sensei. Awful. Netflix's gay & lesbian section leaves much to be desired.
