Insidious

I don't usually watch scary movies, so forgive me if I seem easily scarable. However, the movie seriously creeped me out, and whenever something popped up unexpectedly like one of those demons, the use of music (especially volume) literally had the hair standing up on my legs. Also, now I'm afraid to look into mirrors and reflective windows, and afraid to turn around. Tongue My brother is experiencing similar symptoms.

Thor

So much fun! It certainly washed the mediocre taste of Iron Man 2 out of my mouth.

Tom Hiddelston kind of steals the show. He helps make Loki a pretty complex and enjoyable villain.

I'm not really familiar with Thor, though I know the basics? How do they portray Thor's alter ego (is it doctor Don Blake? I think that's who he was)?

Just saw "Back to School" with Rodney Dangerfield. A great movie with a great man.

"Sharktopus". Heard about it from some friends who watch the SyFy (should be "sci-fi) channel and see all the horrible movies they put up. Awful, but funny in its awfullness. Hopefully I'm able to watch "Dinocroc vs. SuperGator" and "Mega-Python vs. Gateroid" soon.

I've never seen any of the X-Men movies but I will see First Class because I like the setting and premise.

What's the premise again?

Horrible Bosses

Very funny movie even if the plot was kind of poorly put together. It's a good thing it's not the type of movie you'd watch for that.

I saw it and liked it.

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. Every bit as good as I'd hoped it would be and in the sort of way I wanted as well; a genuinely fresh (and also very well done) adaptation rather than an expensive and ill-judged remake of the television adaptation. Much of the acting was outstanding (to be expected with a cast like that, but, still) and many of the shots were really quite beautiful. Perfectly paced as well.

I wanna see this, though I've only seen the trailer. I didn't know it had been originally been a book (I'm guessing it's a book).

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows

Entertaining but a bit confusing

Agreed.

As for me, "28 days later". Awesome.

The Iron Lady... great film, the left might hate it because it doesn't demonise her... but doesn't sugar-coat what she did either.

Streep is magnificent.

So you'd recommend it?
