In theaters, it was War of the Worlds. I saw it on the Fourth of July. Grin

As for TV, I watched my DVD of Die Hard 2 yesterday. Cheesy

The Simpson's Movie

I thought the first 45 minutes were really funny, but then the laughter died down. Nevertheless, it was way better than past Simpson's episodes from Season 18 onwards. The film also pointed me in the right direction for who to vote for in 2008, ITCHY/HILLARY!

I saw it too yesterday. Was quite funny. Basically this movie guarantees a Clinton presidency next year, with all the advertisment for her in the movie Wink

Also, Alaska will probably see a huge population boom in the next years. Watch out for the immigrants, Aksaber ! Tongue

I'll be sure to do that. Cool Thanks for the warning!!! Tongue Grin

It was so funny when the Simpson's entered Alaska, when the Alaskan official gave them $1000 thanks to the Alaskan Oil companys. That was one of the funniest lines in the whole movie.

Hmmm. All this talk is starting to make me want to see the movie now..... Grin

Falling Down.

Great movie. Everyone should see it.

Yeah, a good movie. I really liked it too. Even though D-Fens did a sh**tload of horrible stuff, by the end I felt kinda sorry for him.

In the past 3 or so days I've seen Ocean's 13, and Live Free Or Die Hard.

I really enjoyed both.

I really enjoyed both.

Live Free or Die Hard was awesome...and even had the original Die Hard score from '88. However, to me, Rambo felt more like a Rambo movie than Live Free or Die Hard felt like a Die Hard. Impressive given that only 12 years had passed since the last Die Hard while 20 years had passed since the last Rambo.

Yes it was awesome. I noticed the original theme music too. I thought it was a nice touch. I haven't seen any of the Rambo films. But I have seen all the Lethal Weapon ones. Odd. O_o

Cloverfield

I liked it. My favorite part was when they are making their way to Midtown Manhattan, their journey was interrupted by the creature. So they turn around to run away, but there they are, the Army. Bullets, missiles, artillery, all those were going off around them.

Let's see what have I seen recently.
Raiders of the Lost Ark: Very enjoyable. I had never sat down and watched the whole thing but it was great.

O_O What?! I've seen it like 7 times already.

I agree with what you said about The Temple of Doom. Jeez Louise, that movie sucked.

The Last Crusade was awesome. I don't think they could have found a better actor than Sean Connery to play Indy's dad.

My brother and I both saw Kingdom of the Crystal Skull the day it came out. We both really enjoyed the film. We still can't figure out why some deride the movie so much. O_o

Training Day

Damn that Alonzo Harris is one bad cop. But if we're talking about corrupt L.A. cops, I think Vic Mackey and his strike team could kick the ass of Alonzo and his team. Tongue

The Dark Knight

Yeah, I finally got around to seeing it last weekend. I waited cause I thought the theaters would have been a madhouse. Even so, when I went, it started at 11 p.m. and the room was full then. Needless to say, I wasn't disappointed. Lots of people there really got into the movie too. Some cheered, clapped, laughed. I've never seen a film where the audience was so into the flick.
