I registered in the fantasy elections forum.  Does this allow me to see other posts (bills under consideration/voting)?

I was just wondering about a little more info. on the fantasy govt., how it works, etc.

Err, bills and stuff are in the Fantasy Government board.  But you're not a senator so you can't vote or introduce bills Wink

However, you can propose bills and bug the Senators to introduce them or run for the Senate yourself and make your proposed bill the centerpiece of your campaign.

Actually, the Senate midterms are in just a few weeks, so if you really wanted to run, you could give it a shot.  Your district is heavily UAC though.

You are in District 5, which comprises most of the western states plus AK and HI.  The major parties are:

The United Atlas Centrists(Center right economically, center left socially, currently hold the presidency, as well as a majority of the Governorships of the regions)

The Atlas Forum Independence Party (Center left, holds the most seats in the Senate, I would consider them to be the main opposition party)

The Republicans (self-explanatory)

The United Left (Far-leftist party)

There is also a Democratic party, but it has lost some of its most prominent members to the AFIP and only hold 1 Senate seat at present.  There are also several minor parties, such as the Southern Republicans, and most recently an attempt to create a Libertarian party.

You can participate in our fantasy government as a citizen.  You can vote in elections, run for office, perhaps get yourself appointed to a position.  It's all in good fun, but I warn you, the partisanship can get pretty heated.  If you have any questions, feel free to IM me.  Smiley

I'd be more than glad to be elected, so long as the commitment wasn't huge, but judging by the fantasy govt. forum, it doesn't seem to be.  I guess campaigning would just be posts as opposed to IMs and flash animated attack ads?  I can see it now.

Pimpmastahdady is weak on defense.  This friday afternoon, vote GOPmofo137

Yes the ads are the best part of the whole thing. Smiley You should see my attack ads. If you elected Reaganfan and the Atlas Nazi Party a nuclear war will break out. Smiley

I've never used a flash ad, and been elected twice, so they aren't necessary.

I've never had an ad made against me either Smiley

The citizens of my region/district believe words is enough, so long as they're backed up in the senate Smiley
