I have changed my alliance from Dean to edwards, but will support Dean if Edwards falters in Iowa.

Am I the only one that thinks he looks like a Kennedy in that picture?

What brings this change Miami?

It looks like you're in the same dilemma as me. As I said before, my head says Edwards but my heart says Dean.

Edwards has always been my favorite, really---he reminds me alot of Clinton.  but, I never thought he could win the nomination until now.  He is in a statistical dead heat in Iowa, and if he wins that....Edwards2K4

Hmmm maybe a Kennedy but I think he looks a heck of a lot like Kerry in that photo anyway

In my opinion Edwards has a good chance of beating Bush. The only thing that speaks against him is his inexperience, but then they said the same about JFK. Still, something tells me he'd be more suited as a running mate. Call it a gut feeling.

Anything other than a Dean victory in Iowa would still shock me, regardless of the polls, but let's wait and see.

I'd be very happy to see Edwards as the nominee. (Rhyme unintentional.)

My support has changed multiple times over the past months.  I orignally supported Kerry, then Edwards, then Karry, then Gephardt, then Dean, then Gephardt again.  Right now I'd like either Dean or Gephardt, but I'd perfer Gephardt.

Luckily (or not) I don't live in an early primary state so I have no say in the matter!

I thought that you're left liberal Miamiu? Doesn't Edwards be too conservative for you?

I also like him. Very charismatic guy and makes Bush seems like old man. Also as a vice president candidate...Edwards vs. Cheney. Edwards would increase to young voters and (with his looks) women support to Democrats. It's pretty  surprising that he is already 50. Looks younger. Personally I believe that Bush won in 2000 because he was more handsome than Gore (So ladies told) It was tight race. There are lot of people who don't understand anything about politics and go to vote nevertheless. I think that there was these few thousand voters in Florida who decided it in that way. Of cource there was several and several groups who decided to vote for bush for several other reasons. Beautycontest-thing was only one.

That's an interesting theory...might well have been true of Kennedy in 1960.

MaimiU is not that far to the left, at least that's what he told us during the election campaign. Btw, Finn, why don't you register to vote in the forum-elections? We need every vote we can get, and we are allowed! Smiley

*this poll excludes the two remaining jokers

These are the democrats I wouldn't mind winning if there absolutely had to be a dem president:
Lieberman
Edwards

These are the dems with the worst chances in the gen. electeion:
Dean
Kerry

These are the dems with a decent chance in the gen. election:
Lieberman
Edwards
Clark

So, as you can see, Clark would be in my mind the worst possible outcome of the dem primary. e has a chance of winning if Bush maes mistakes, and he would be a terrible president.

My loyalty in this one has been all over the board.  Fortunately the PA primary is a long way off.

I started off looking purely at resumes and supported Kerry.  Then I attended a Dean meetup and switched to him.  After watching several debates I found myself moving towards Edwards.  The other night I attended a John Kerry rally and heard Chris Heinz speak (impressive guy) and now I'm torn somewhere between Kerry & Edwards.

In a perfect world I would get Edwards with Kerry's resume.
