So, is this where we are on the elections?

Presidential Tickets

Al / Dr. Cynic
Brandon H / Brandon W
hughgento/???

I don't think I have seen it posted in this thread, but Hughento and Afleitch are running together. Everett & TexasGurl are running together and have posted in this thead. Everything else is correct to my knowledge. (Unless you want to include the special Mideast election that is taking place right now.)

I am dropping out of the Presidential race and running for Pacific Senate.

(Once again, my apologies, TexasGurl. Sad)

Everett, according to the election laws, you missed the deadline for running as a regular candidate. Your statement here is sufficient for the "write-ins must notify of acceptance of write in votes" requirement. As a write-in, you're good to go. Good luck!

I realize we just got through an election, and this may be too early to announce it, but I will be running for Midwest senate as a member of the SLA.

Why wait four months when you could run in two months for a District Senate Seat, of whatever district that will be that is?

Maybe, maybe not. You can just say you are running for whatever district you end up in. You could end up in Colin's district who already said he is running.

I withdraw my name as a candidate for the Midwest senate seat and will instead put my support behind Senator Speedy for his re-election. Smiley

According to the AFEWiki the elections will be this weekend, and therefore Gully Foyle will not be an eligible candidate

There is a bill on the Senate floor to postpone them to next weekend.  Even if they not be postponed, Gully could still wage a write-in candidacy.

Under the circumstances of the situation with the Districts not being finalized until after what would have been the deadline, I like Ernest's bill as that was a very creative solution.

If you want to get technical, I believe my Declaration was also after the deadline if the election stays on the 8 - 10.

I'd like to be a candidate for senate in Distrcit 3 now that SoS is out (if it's not too late to put my name in...)
