No, it's the 12th.  The cutoff is always 10 days before the election, and the election begins the 22nd.

What a curious fiction: Please read Section 7 of the CESRA.
Okay, I have:
"Any instance of the word 'candidate' in Sections 1 through to 6 shall be read as "ticket" in the case of Presidential elections." I fail to see the relevance.


He may have been refering to section 8:
"Section 8: Candidacy Declarations
1. The candidacy declaration deadline for regular elections to the Senate shall be seven days before the earliest possible commencement of the election and for special elections to the Senate shall be two days before the commencement of the election."

Actually, I believe DWTL's most recent statement was that he wanted to be left on the ballot, but he wouldn't be campaigning. I'm not certain, but I think that's right.

Hell, keep me on the ballot for the hell of it but I'm not campaigning
