I highly doubt Spitzer will win by 50% when all is said and done, and he probably would have to win by this margin in order to carry every county. It's not outside of the realm of possibility, however. Spitzer is a true champion of the common man; I think he'll be a good Governor.

Schumer won 71.16% of the vote in the 2004 election and he still didn't win every county. He still lost Hamilton County, where he recieved, 43.34% of the vote.

So using that as a baseline, a Democrat might have to get to 78 percent statwide to win every county (was Hamilton County the Republican candidate's home county in 2004?).
