Social Democrat (78%)

Social democracy is a political ideology that espouses economic and social policies that promote social equality and justice. Economically, social democrats support capitalism with state intervention while also supporting the nationalization of critical industries. However, many social democrats support corporatism. Socially, social democrats tend to be socially permissive, supporting liberal causes such as same-sex marriage and abortion rights.

I retook some tests, based on my previous results from November/December or so, I've stayed roughly in the same spot in terms of economics, but socially I'm a lot more liberal than I used to be (last year I was like 75% Authority on 8values and 4.5 authoritarian on the Political Compass)

Basically, constructivism means that you understand societal differences as a social construct, and essentialism that those differences are caused by aspects that are in the essence of the people involved.

E.g. gender roles are mainly a product of soci(et)al influence [constructivism] or of biological differences between genders [essentialism]

What type of right winger are you?
Your Result: Libertarian

84%
You are a libertarian. You favor small government all around and might consider yourself a minarchist. Libertarians favor a laissez-faire economy, personal freedoms, a noninterventionist foreign policy, and want to limit government to just the "basic" functions. You might be a fan of Ron Paul.

What is your political ideology?
Your Result: Christian Democrat  80%

Christian democrats are paternal conservatives who generally support a free market economy with limited state intervention. Many also support corporatism, in which workers and employers work through collective bargaining agreements to cooperate and improve conditions for both. Socially, Christian democrats tend to be moderate conservatives, being in opposition to same-sex marriage and abortion while also opposing secularism to some degree. They tend to value the family and believe that it has its own individual autonomy in society.

Your Result: Social Liberal  90%

Social liberalism espouses a balance between social equality and individual liberty and supports government intervention to achieve such a goal. Social liberals support a regulated market economy, but oppose nationalization, differentiating them from many more left-wing social democrats. Socially, they support many liberal causes, such as same-sex marriage and abortion. In the US, social liberals also tend to support some degree of gun control.

My old result vs my new result (the difference is about half a year):

Progressivism went up 15%, conservatism went down 12%.
Revolutionism went up 21%, reformism went down 19%.

Those are really the only changes that matter.

As for this test, Your Result: Anarchist 74%
Anarchists seek to remove all unnecessary hierarchy and live in a society with no rulers. They are a diverse group, ranging from communists to capitalists to even some primitivists!
