The Mideast Senate race will definitely be interesting, there are three candidates running.  You all should debate.

I wish you the best of luck Mr. Liberty.

I have a good campaign slogan, "Give me Liberty, or give me death." Might be a bit extreme though.

Where I stand on some issues

I am for simplification of election processes, law making processes etc. in this forum

I am agianst all abortions

I am for minimal government, reduced spending, and low taxes

I am against activist courts and call for impeachment and removal of all

I am for a non-interventionalist foreign policy

I am in favor of a strong defense

that should be enough to get things started, if you want to know where I stand on anything else ask me.

Incidentally, Liberty, when are you going to respond to my response to your post in the Judge Blocks Partial-Birth Abortion Ban thread in the U.S. General Politics section? I've been eagerly awaiting your reply.

At any rate, a very right wing independent newcomer should make things interesting in this race.

Quite possible, but it's still early in the race.

He's written too much vitriol and too many poorly reasoned arguments to be a Senator that could adequately represent anyone. For example, his Constitutional argument and my reply.

Thank you for calling some important things to my attention migrendal, I will do my best to address them

All right, I admit my Constitutional argument was flawed, but anyone can make a mistake, especially if you're not a law scholar. It is true that there may not be any legal grounds as your well researched argument states. However, I will never believe abortion is right and will support any legislation limiting the act on the grounds that I believe it infanticide

One more thing migrendal, I don't really believe I have a chance to win. I'm only running to get acquainted with process and the fantasy forum.  If in an upset I am elected I would be most appreciative and would do my best as Senator.
