It was so good I finished it in one day.  It's about the 1940 presidential race, focusing on the Republican convention and how the only internationlist (Wilkie) won the Republican nomination.  It also shows how lack of Wilkie opposition to FDR foreign policy during the campaign allowed a draft to be passed and support to England.
