I'd like to know how everyone's high school election systems work. For student council we let all three returning grades vote for one person for the individual positions and three for sophomore and freshman reps. Its a plurality voting system. We also have homeroom reps, which is an election for one person by homeroom.

For my grade there are four races.  The first, and most important is for the president, vice president, and secretary of the entire school.  There, the current frosh, sophs, and juniors vote.  Next year's frosh do not.

Then there are the three individual class elections, in which each class elects a pres, a VP, and a sec, along with 2 class reps.  There are no run offs, thus it is not neccessary to get a majority of the grade's votes, only to have the most votes.
