heh.  Kerry or Bush should only go after those states.  Kerry should stop all of his advertising in states like Oregon and Iowa and focus on Texas and Georgia.

Looking back all the way to 1900 the amount of states required for a victory has stayed pretty constant.  I looked at 2000, 1980, 1960, and 1900 and they all required between 11 and 12 states to win.

1900 (12)

Why doni't you try to get Kerry to follow this approach?

Sounds like it would help in leading to a good result for the country!  tehe

Democrats always win populated states. The democratic party relies on the big states to come in. Like in 2004, in my mind they will win-
CALIFORNIA = 55
NEW YORK = 31
ILLINOIS = 21
PENNSLYVANIA = 21
OHIO = 20
MICHIGAN = 17
NEW JERSEY = 15
Thats already 180 electoral votes only 90 to go.

Republicans rely on the country foke states with small populations apart from
Texas = 34 (bushs state)
Florida = 27 (bushs brother is governor)
North Carolina = 15 (confederate south)
Georgia = 15 (confederate south)
Thats 94 votes. with still 176 more votes needed.

If Kerry picked Edwards for vp, apparently north carolina becomes a battleground state. if bush loses that we have a landslide democrat victory.
