... with politics similar to mine, cohabiting with me.

And I'm not insisting on the "Japanese" part.

Speaking of cohabitation - here in this remote Thai town, I'm constantly beset by attractive women who would be interested in such an arrangement.  However, the idea of such involvement is abhorrent to me - I prefer 'short time'.  So, I find myself in the interesting situation of having huge numbers of options, but only very few 'pros' around who will accept the limitation to what I want.

At the present time either Ron Paul or Fred Thompson.

Concurred.

Although assuming he doesn't run, Mark Warner and/or Evan Bayh would be my ideal candidates.

While I dislike both of those candidates, I highly doubt that ticket could be defeated by any Democrat--barring something major happening.

My ideal candidate would be someone with a lot of financial background.  It could be someone from the Wall Street scene or someone who has headed up a major corporation whom is financially savvy.  Probably not someone who is well know before the campaigning begins, but will instantly strike a cord with the voting population.  His VP would be someone with a lot of military experience.  That would cover the two war fronts we'll continue to deal with in the 21st century.

I'm intrigued by some of the people who like Al Gore, but also like Evan Bayh.  Bayh is a very conservative Democrat.  Zell Miller said that Bayh's the only Democrat he could probably vote for, that's likely to run for President.  Gore has swung to the left.

Why do you support enviro-Gore, but also the conservative Bayh?

Probably Ron Paul but I would also like it if Tom Ridge ran.

Dennis Kucinich, if I could just pick, but I suppose by ideal CANDIDATE would be someone like Warner who can actually win.

Bayh is not conservative, and is hardly moderate. Look at his recent votes if you want evidence. You'll find they're more often than not with a Leahy or Schumer rather than Be. Nelson or Pryor.

The most ideal person is John Edwards.
Southern, charismatic, good-looking, moderate appeal (even if he isn't really that moderate), fair debator, and charming.  The only problems are being on the losing 2004 ticket and experience.  But that's more than we can say for almost everyone else in the running.
