Ummm . . . yeah, actually.  That is sort of required by law.

Ummm, no. Not when you haven't paid for any advertising yet.

If the party gives him any funds, it has to be reported.

Good lord man, the party hasn't given him any funds yet. I don't know how much clearer I could possibly be.

And if they do plan on giving him funds, the exact amount MUST be reported.  You asked Sam if he wanted an exact dollar amount that the Democrats woudl give.  I am saying that, yes, he does.  If they are going to give money, they must announce the exact amount.
