This is what a lot of us said before - now the primary is over the Rep base is solidifying. Having said that, given how uniformly unpopular she is, 40% should be her ceiling.

If you think Crist is any prize to the conservative community in Florida you are mistaken. He is more moderate (or in GOP political terms "liberal") than Bush was and the indy conservatives of the state are somewhat disappointed with him.
