Good lord man, it has nothing to do with being dovish/hawkish! A real Democrat is someone who votes in the best interests of the working man and the middle class.

Cuellar is absolutely horrible on economic and trade issues. He is the top corporate Democrat in the House. No Democrat does more to screw the working man than Henry Cuellar.

You're right, Cuellar is probably too much of a coward to run statewide against a Republican.

Cuellar voted to permanantly repeal the estate tax.  

He's done a lot worse than that. He's voted for every "free" trade deal, voted for every tax cut for the rich, voted for the bankruptcy bill, voted for every piece of corporate welfare for the oil and pharmaceutical companies, and votes against every piece of lobbyist reform that's been out there.

He is absolutely horrible on economic and trade issues.
