http://www.surveyusa.com/50State2006/50StateGovernor060921Net.htm

Murkowski has finally done it, he's beaten Taft for the title of most hated Governor. 14%. Ouch.

Brad Henry is kicking. Kaine doing pretty well. Corzine beginning to recover.

Saxton must be REALLY bad for Kulongoski to be doing so well with these numbers.

I knew my Brad Henry would be very popular here.  Istook has even less of a shot now than he did after the primaries in late July.

So who's going to win the OK LG contest?

That's a tough call, though I'd give Democrat House Minority Leader Jari Askins the edge over GOP Speaker of the House Todd Hiett.  I'm voting for Jari as I don't want a 4-year-long fight between Henry and Hiett.  I think Hiett wants to be Governor, so he'd stop at nothing to fight and block anything and everything Henry puts forth.

Jeb has gained a bit of ground. This won't help Mr. Jim "Hike Property Taxes" Davis.

Riddle me this:
1. Why does Risch have such low approvals?
2. If Californians dislike Arnold so much, why don't they vote against him?

Ehrlich took a little dip.  Not sure why though.  I guess thats just the nature of conducting approval polls during a campaign.

A couple months ago Rendell was way down.  Now he's way up.

Schweitzer's popularity will help Tester, as Tester is tying himself to the Guv.

Bredesen is doing well.  Id like to see some head to head numbers from this race.  A big win could help Ford.

Corzine is doing better than I thought.  He's still a drag on Menendez though.

Granholm is in the pits.

Doyle has approval only because it's election time. If it wasn't he'd still be disapproved of.

The problem is California is the very biased media coverage. Instead of covering Arnold's scandals or Angelides' plans, the media coverage seems to basically be: "Can Angelides win? We think not."

The media is even more pro-Arnold than pro-Bush. They let Arnold get away with a campaign based upon nothing in 2003, so of course they'll let him of the hook again.

For some biased coverage, see here, and I've seen far worse.
