Bush/Cheney: 309

Kerry/Vilsack: 229

I don't know how acurate it is, but I stand by it.

I think that could be right but i also think that WI will OBP go to Kerry while I think that PA and OH will be darn close Smiley

My support for Kerry really interests me, I support him and will vote for him, but i can see positives from both a Kerry win and loss, the truth is neither result would be brilliant (as say an Edwards win might be Cheesy ) but it does make me feel less is riding on this election to an extent, some Dems are really going to hate me for saying that but so long as we can retake the senate (figuers crossed) I am happy a Kerry win for me is just a bonus, don't get me wrong I'll be stoked if Kerry wins but I won't be devisated if he loses Smiley

I think your numbers are wrong, pbrunsel, bush should have a 309-229 victory, unless I miscalculated.

If Vilsack is picked, Wisconsin will go to KErry in a relatively close election.

Bush/Cheney: 299

Kerry/Vilsack: 239
If my math is correct, your map is:

Bush/Cheney: 309
Kerry/Vilsack: 229

Were you supposed to color WI red?  Did you forget to add it to Bush's total?  Or was it just an addition error?

Anyway, I generally agree with your prediction, but I might be inclined to flip WI, NH, and PA.... making it Bush 274, Kerry 264.  Much closer, but, in the end, same thing... Bush win.  NM could flip too, making it the rather surreal tie... but even that is a Bush win, given the make-up of the House.

If Vilsack is picked, Wisconsin will go to KErry in a relatively close election.

Vilsack is extremely unpopular in Iowa, and would be recalled if it was law. He has vetoed more bills that the last 5 governors combined in 3 months. These bills ranged from mandatory limits on malapractice insurance, several tax cuts on small business, and several education bills. If Vilsack is picked Kerry might lose Iowa!

He is more Rendell unpopular. In polling in Iowa he is hovering in the 40% approval ratings, much like Rendell.

Do you have any approval ratings polls?

I read his polls in the Quad City Times last Sunday. It was a small Zogby poll.
